As a Software Development Engineer in Test you focus on real-world, end-to-end testing to qualify team releases. You will collaborate cross-functionally across engineering and support teams building automation framework that supports end-to-end use case tests. You’ll ensure quality code releases that are resilient,scalable, and performing optimally on our state-of-the-art infrastructure.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating with teams internally to design,develop and implement test cases and test plans
- Developing new End-To-End automation tests implemented in Python (80%)
- Performing manual tests (20%)
- Diagnosing, debugging and performing root-cause analysis of issues and Defects demonstrating the ability to work in an agile,dynamic and rapidly growing Environment
- working in collaborative internal cross functional teams to achieve timely resolution of platform affecting issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, or related field
- Be proficient in Python programming language (1+ years of experience)Be comfortable with working in a Linux/Unix environment
- Have expertise in Networking, TCP/IP, HTTPHTTPs
- Have expertise in REST APls, Database andSQL
- Have a good understanding of Client- Serverarchitecture
