“The Class 12th result will be available tomorrow by 2 PM. We are also trying to release the Class 10th results the same day, depending on server performance,” said Secretary G.H. Sheikh.

According to Sheikh, if the board’s servers are able to handle the traffic and load after the release of the Class 12th results, the Class 10th results may also be released later in the evening on April 30. However, if technical limitations arise, the Class 10th result will be officially declared the following day, May 1, 2025.

Joint Declaration Was Under Consideration

As previously reported by Greater Kashmir, the JKBOSE had been exploring the possibility of declaring the Class 10th and 12th results simultaneously. Internal assessments were being conducted to evaluate the server capacity and backend infrastructure required to handle such a large-scale release.

A senior board official also noted that the simultaneous release was largely dependent on the ability of the servers to manage high web traffic during result hours, which often leads to downtime and access issues for students.

“We want to avoid any inconvenience to students due to server overload. That’s why we’ve taken a cautious approach,” the official said.

Where to Check the Results

Students can check their results online through the official JKBOSE website:

They will need to enter their roll number and other required credentials to access their scorecards. JKBOSE has advised students to keep their exam details handy and to visit the website only after the scheduled time to avoid unnecessary server load.

What This Means for Students

This result marks a critical milestone for Class 12th students, many of whom are awaiting their scores to apply for undergraduate programs across the country. The announcement brings clarity and allows students to plan ahead for admissions, entrance exams, and other academic opportunities.

Parents, students, and teachers have welcomed the early intimation, which provides enough lead time to prepare for result day.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Class 10th result, which could be released later tomorrow or on May 1, depending on technical feasibility.
